About Me

My path to design wasn’t linear. For years, I worked in communication and marketing, earned a graduate degree, and built professional experience—foundations that taught me how to understand audiences, craft clear messages, and work across disciplines. These skills continue to shape how I approach design today. It wasn’t until I joined the Interaction Design program—and was honored as Sheridan’s valedictorian—that I discovered my true direction: becoming a designer who simplifies complexity into intuitive, human-centered solutions.

That journey was far from easy. Moving from China to Canada during the pandemic while taking on family responsibilities meant long nights and countless revisions. But those challenges gave me resilience and focus, shaping not only my design skills but also my belief that it’s never too late to pursue your mission. The journey of finding yourself—discovering what truly motivates and moves you—is perhaps the most meaningful one of all.

This belief grounds my design philosophy: Design for Growth.Today, I specialize in designing for both B2B and B2C contexts, tackling complex workflows, building scalable design systems, and creating accessible solutions that drive adoption and efficiency. Each project reinforces my conviction that design isn’t just seen—it’s felt. I aim to craft digital experiences that resonate emotionally while solving real problems.
